WEEK 3 : First Meeting with Our Supervisor

On that week, we managed to meet our supervisor, Mr. Safyzan bin Salim along with another group under his supervision (Amelin & Khairi). Our purpose on meeting him was to confirm to continue our project rooting from the previous subject taken in 4^th semester (Engineering Design) which is “ANIMAL FARMING WITH WIRELESS DETECTOR AND DATA TRANSFER USING BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY”

From that meeting, we also have a further discussion to gain a better understanding about what does our project are all about so that our project could work well as the title given and the components used for this project.

So, here is our project description;

This project is about making an application in handling any data in animal husbandry business where the entrepreneurs do not have to worry about losing any data and they can just update anywhere and anytime nearby the farm through their smart devices. No paper, no pen. It is also to widen the use of technology in farming.

In hope, by using technology, we could save the environment by reducing the paper usage in collecting data in the farm.

For this project, we would use a beacon device and a smart phone to make this project successful.
