WEEK 14 : COMPLETING REPORT WRITING

We compile all the report writing from chapter 1 till chapter 5. We manage to get all the results needed for the report writing. We also manage to complete the application that we were making that is the BLE FARMING where user can easily use to insert, modify and eliminate the data base and to search for the animals using the beacon registered.

Screen 1

When “Show” button is click, it will show the list of data base that is registered and available inside the BLE connected. When “New” button is click, it will open a new screen in Screen 2 that is the Registration page. When “Update” button is click, it will open screen 3 that is to update or change the data base that is registered before by searching the ID on the show list. When “Delete” button is click, it will open Screen 4 where it will delete the data base registered by searching the ID on the show list. Lastly, when clicking the “Scan” button, the screen will show the new screen 5 where it will scan the BLE device nearby.

Screen 2

When clicking “New” button, the registration page is open. Users must insert the data base by keying in the type of animals, gender, the birth date and the age of the animal. Once it is ready to register, click the register button and back to the show screen on figure above then click the “Show” button and it show the data base that is registered.

Screen 3

When “Update” button is click, screen 3 is appeared. By inserting the ID of the animals in the show list and it will appear the gender, birth date and age of the animals that you wanted to update. This can ease users on changing the data whenever they had mistaken register the data base. After clicking the “ update button on screen 3 then click the back button and you will return to screen 1 and on the show list you will see the changes made on the data base.

When clicking the delete button on screen 1, the delete data screen is appeared just as shown above. When you key in the ID of the animals on the show list and press search, the data base of the animals is appeared showing the gender, birth date and age of the animal user wanted to delete. Once confirm on deleting, click the “delete” button to remove all the data base and press “back” and user will go back to the show list page and view that the data base has been deleted from the show list.

Screen 5

When “Scan” button is click, therefore it will scan any available BLE nearby. When device is found, the link status appeared “found device! (click to select)” and shall show list of BLE available device nearby. After picking the BLE it will shows that the BLE is registered or not and click the “Connect to Device” button to connect the BLE for inserting data into the BLE. For a result, by choosing the BLE registered, it will show the BLE Status, stating the MAC Address, the name of BLE and RSSI of the BLE connected. After you finish to registered the data base just click the disconnect button and the BLE status will shows “No data found”. And the “BACK” button will go to the show list screen.
